Engagement Spotlight:  Department of Veterans Affairs

The Department of Veterans Affairs is engaged in a multi-year strategic transformation initiative called T-21. As part of this strategy VA is designing and implementing an enterprise construct to manage its portfolio of over 1,500 health care facilities. Working under the auspices of the National Institute of Building Sciences, we provided leadership to a multidisciplinary team of VA executives, staff from central offices and the field, and a team of external subject matter experts across the disciplines of health care and facilities management. Our work involved providing strategic guidance, operational and process improvment, organizational change management, organizational design, and project management. The multi-year initiative will continue througth 2011- 2012. Read more about the engagement here.
